As outlined in the latest issue of ForuM, we are remaining flexible in our delivery of events. Given the recent move to Phase 3, the Board has announced it is unlikely FMANZ will host any in-person events before July, but rest assured there will be a wide range of events to choose from, all delivered online and at various times to fit in with everyone’s schedules. The Board and management team met last week with branch chairs to confirm the events programme for the coming few months. More information coming soon.
The first casualty of the omicron outbreak was our in-person National Breakfast Seminar Series, which we moved online to a lunchtime webinar on 3 March. Attended by 80 members, this event proved very successful, with the recording and slides uploaded to our members portal. Log in here and go to Member Resources/CPD to access. Our thanks to Inspector Brent Register from NZ Police for his informative presentation on keeping people safe in crowded spaces.
