Call for Summit Abstracts

By February 3, 2022No Comments

FMANZ is excited to announce that the Call for Abstracts for FM Summit 2022 is now open.

Taking place on 14 – 15 September at Cordis Auckland, our two-day industry conference aims to provoke and stimulate conversations and ideas around this year’s ‘Fit for Purpose’ theme.

What do we need to do to ensure the facilities we manage, the FM industry and FMs as individuals are fit for purpose, now and in the future?

We are looking to build a programme across the 13 core FM competencies and would love to hear from you if you have a topic, presentation or research that would help delegates gain insight, knowledge and expertise, and develop their skills in facilities management.

Particularly welcome are case studies that focus on the ‘Fit for Purpose’ theme and inspire FMs to think outside the box.

If you have a link to a video of a previous presentation you’ve delivered and are proud of, be sure to send it through! We’re keen to see your industry knowledge in action and how your personality shines through.

Additionally, if you have any creative ideas that fall outside the realm of what we’ve done in the past, we’d love to hear from you.

Note: We are not seeking presentations that promote companies’ products or services.  The FMANZ speaker guidelines [LINK] will apply to all approved FM Summit presentations and content.

Abstract requirements due by 5pm, Wednesday 2 March.

  • A short abstract of your proposed paper and what your presentation will cover (250 words max).
  • A short career history and background for your speaker profile, including job title and company (80 words max).
    • Presenter contact details (phone / email).
    • A suggested title.
    • Feedback on whether you think your presentation is best suited to a workshop, seminar or plenary session and how long you feel you need.
    • Contact details of someone who has seen you present (if possible).
    • Three key learning outcomes for delegates.
  • A commitment to personally present the paper at the conference (pending paper acceptance).
