Dr Alina Ewald
Associate Lecturer | Western Sydney University School of Psychology
Alina is a work–family scholar specialising in the balance between work and family commitments, with a focus on gender equity and women’s participation in the workforce. She brings extensive experience in business management and development within the corporate sector, alongside her academic work. Alina is currently an Associate Lecturer and Academic Program Advisor at the School of Psychology at Western Sydney University, where she completed her PhD in Psychology in 2022.
Her research focuses on improving organisational support for working parents and highlighting the role of fathers in caregiving to advance gender equity. She examines how shared childcare benefits families and enables women to return to paid work, while also exploring how workplaces can better support employees balancing work and caregiving.

Amanda Majarres
Chief Operating Officer | Aeria Management Group
Amanda Majarres is a senior executive with extensive experience in a broad range of property, aviation, commercial, operational and financial roles.
She has worked in highly competitive and complex environments in blue-chip firms such as Deloitte, Kellogg's, Qantas and CBRE. In her current role as COO at Aeria Management Group, she is accountable for overseeing a broad portfolio, including asset management, development, facilities management, and aviation operations.
She has a proven track record of delivering transformational and continuous improvement strategies that drive operational, financial and people outcomes while exceeding customer and stakeholder expectations. With an authentic and curious leadership style, she enjoys building high-performing teams and developing others.

Lee Gardiner
Acting Chief Executive | Citycare Property
Lee is an experienced executive leader with a legal background and more than 20 years of senior management experience across HR, people and culture transformation, health and safety, and change management. She has held senior people, culture and marketing roles in publicly listed, government and privately held organisations. Lee is passionate about organisational success through strong people practices and supporting both current and future leaders.
Lee is Ngāti Tūwharetoa and advocates for Māori development and achievement, as well as equity and inclusion. She began her governance career as an Associate Director through the CCHL Associate Director Programme on the Citycare Board and brings industry experience across infrastructure, facilities and parks maintenance, energy, agriculture, education and tourism.

Vanessa Powell
Business Director - Procurement, Property & Facilities | Robert Walters
Vanessa specialises in recruitment across procurement, property and facilities management. Since starting her career in 2013, she has built a strong reputation for connecting talent with industry needs, particularly in contract recruitment to help bridge workforce gaps in tight labour markets.
An award-winning recruitment professional, Vanessa was recognised with the RCSA Recruitment Professional Award in 2023. She is a passionate advocate for future-focused workforce thinking, encouraging organisations to look more broadly at skills, capability, and career pathways.
Vanessa has a long-standing involvement with FMANZ, having served two terms on the Board and contributed over a decade to the Wellington branch.
