Slav is an experienced Facilities and Asset Management leader with over 15 years of senior engineering and management experience across Auckland Transport and KiwiRail. He currently serves as Technical Facilities Manager at Auckland Transport, providing strategic, operational, and commercial leadership across complex facilities, marine, and infrastructure portfolios.
With a background in mechanical engineering, Slav specialises in asset lifecycle management, safety and regulatory compliance, contract and vendor governance, and reliability improvement. He has led multidisciplinary teams and overseen large maintenance contracts and budgets within public transport environments.
Justin Wenthold | Branch Manager, Northern Region | Schindler
Justin Wenthold is the Branch Manager for the Northern Region at Schindler Group, overseeing elevator operations across service, construction, and modernisation for Auckland and the wider North Island. Leading a team of more than 80 office and field professionals, he focuses on driving asset reliability, operational excellence, and long-term portfolio performance.
Before relocating to New Zealand, Justin spent a decade working in major U.S. markets, including Chicago and New York City, managing complex elevator portfolios and delivering large modernisation projects. He holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology and is passionate about partnering with facility and asset owners to develop smarter, more sustainable approaches to vertical transportation management.
