BERL Research to Define FM in NZ

By August 2, 2023August 9th, 2023No Comments

Exciting news! We have engaged Business and Economic Research Limited (BERL) to complete an assessment of the economic impact of the facilities management sector and our contribution to New Zealand’s economy, with results to be presented at FM Summit on 21 September. This is HUGE news and very exciting for our sector but we need your help.

To inform the assessment, BERL is seeking input from FMANZ members and is asking you to complete a survey to capture information on your organisation’s role in the sector, as well as information on expenditure, and employment.

Please note: Senior FMs – this survey is most relevant to you.

Your responses will provide BERL with the additional information they need to estimate the size of the New Zealand facilities management sector, the value of its expenditure, and the contribution it makes to employment, and gross domestic product (GDP).

To be directed to the survey please follow this link.

Your individual responses will be kept strictly confidential. Participation is voluntary and you may withdraw at any time. Only BERL’s researchers will have access to the survey data and all information will be stored on a password-protected drive. The results and analysis of the survey will be published and distributed by FMANZ, but individual answers will not be identified. All material will be stored securely by BERL, and you may request your response at any time.

If you have any questions about the research, please contact Hugh Dixon, Data Manager, BERL, on hugh.dixon@berl.co.nz

The survey will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. To enable BERL to complete this work, and present results at FM Summit, please complete and submit your response by 11 August.
