The Trans-Tasman Facilities Management Alliance

FMANZ has a strategic alliance with the Facility Management Association of Australia (FMA) which sees the two associations working together to deliver tangible outcomes for members on both sides of the Tasman.

Global FM

FMANZ is a member of Global FM, a worldwide federation of facilities management organisations. As well as furthering the knowledge and understanding of FM and sharing best practices, Global FM organises World FM Day, celebrated each year on the second Wednesday in May.

New Zealand Construction Industry Council

FMANZ is a member of the New Zealand Construction Industry Council (NZCIC), an industry association of associations. The CIC is the collaborative voice of the built environment industry and operates at the interface between central and local government and industry. Our CEO sits on the executive.

New Zealand Green Building Council

FMANZ has a memorandum of understanding with the New Zealand Green Building Council (NZGBC), a not-for-profit, industry organisation working to make all homes and buildings in Aotearoa green and sustainable.

Carbon and Energy Professionals New Zealand (CEP)

FMANZ has a memorandum of understanding with Carbon and Energy Professionals New Zealand (CEP). The representative voice of carbon and energy professionals, CEP supports members and organisational partners to further the message of efficiency, productivity and decarbonisation.

Construction Sector Accord

FMANZ is a member of the Construction Sector Accord, a joint commitment from government and industry to work together to create a high-performing construction sector for a better New Zealand.

EECA

FMANZ has an industry collaboration agreement with EECA (the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority), a Crown entity established under the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act 2000 to encourage, promote and support energy efficiency, energy conservation and the use of renewable sources of energy.

New Zealand Institute of Building (NZIOB)

FMANZ has a memorandum of understanding with the New Zealand Institute of Building (NZIOB), a pan-industry membership organisation representing those in the wider building and construction industries.

Association of Building Compliance (ABC)

FMANZ has a memorandum of understanding with ABC, the Association for Building Compliance. The ABC provides members with support, information and training by industry experts in building compliance matters.

Keystone Trust

Through the FMANZ Foundation, we are a proud supporter of Keystone Trust. The Trust helps young people who have been held back by inequality get the education they deserve and move into a successful property or construction career.

CHASNZ (Construction Health and Safety NZ)

FMANZ has a partnership agreement with CHASNZ, a charitable trust committed to improving the lives of construction workers by raising the standard of health and safety culture and performance across the construction industry in New Zealand.

BIMSafe NZ Advisory Group

Our CEO sits on the BIMSafe NZ Advisory Group, which provides guidance and support to the management team. A collaboration between the building industry and government, BIMSafe NZ aims to reduce accident and injury rates.
