After several incredible years with FMANZ, it’s time for me to hand the baton on and step away from my role. As I do, I’m thinking less about projects and milestones, and more about the people who have made this journey so special.
From our members to the many volunteers who serve on the board and committees, and the wider FM community, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside passionate, generous professionals who care deeply about this industry and the places and spaces we look after. Together we’ve navigated change, celebrated success, and shaped programmes, events and communications that I’m incredibly proud of.
I also want to give a special nod to our small-but-mighty operations team. It’s been a joy being part of such a committed, hard-working crew behind the scenes, pulling together so many moving parts to make things happen for our members.
While I’m leaving this role to begin a new chapter with my family, FMANZ and the people who bring it to life will never be far from my thoughts. I’ll happily keep championing the facilities management profession from the sidelines, cheering you on as the association continues to grow, evolve and lead the way.
I’m genuinely delighted to be passing the communications baton to Karishma Mogrelia, who brings fresh energy and ideas to the team. FMANZ is in very good hands, and I have every confidence she’ll continue to strengthen our voice, build connections and shine a light on the outstanding work happening across our community.
Thank you for the trust, support and friendship so many of you have shown me. It’s been an honour to play a small part in FMANZ’s story, and I’m really proud of what we’ve achieved together.
This isn’t goodbye – just a different vantage point from which to applaud all that you do.
