In response to feedback from members, FMANZ opened entries for the 2021 FMANZ Awards yesterday with a new award for Facilities Management Team of the Year.

This award recognises the outstanding performance of a team working in FM – a group of professionals who have applied their experience and knowledge to produce exceptional results as well as demonstrating excellent team qualities.

So if your team is excelling, going above and beyond in pursuit of excellence, and producing exceptional results (or you know a team that is), you have until 2 May to get your entry in.

Entries are also open for:

The Brian Happy Award for Facilities Manager of the Year – awarded for outstanding performance by an individual working in the FM profession.

The Young Achiever of the Year Award – presented to an FM professional under 35 years of age who has shown a strong and on-going commitment to their personal development and that of the wider industry.

The Service Provider of the Year Award – acknowledges outstanding provision of contracted-out facilities services.

“We encourage nominations in all four categories,” says John Hutchings, Chair of the FMANZ Awards Committee. “The last year should hopefully have provided much opportunity to demonstrate excellence in challenging circumstances.”

Key dates:

1 March – Entries open
2 May – Entries close (Note: no extensions will be granted.)
14 June – Finalists announced
