FMANZ National Breakfast Seminar - September 2017

Passive Energy Buildings
the Way of the Future?

Warren Smith takes a look at passive energy buildings and energy
efficient building services through an FM lens.

A mechanical engineer with over 30 years' experience in the FM sector, Warren will
share insights gathered on a recent AUT trip to Northern Europe, the USA and Canada.

What are the design principles of passive energy buildings? How do these buildings
contribute to the wellbeing of occupants, the planet and a company's bottom line?
What role does technology play now, and in the future? Where do building standards
fit into all of this? And how do Facilities Managers engage building users?
