Val Moraes (Chairperson)
CFM MBA GSNZAP Val is the Managing Director of Gregmore Group of Companies and Principal Consultant for Management Consultants International and Green Star Building Consultants both members of the Gregmore Group. His previous role was Group Property Services Manager with Progressive Enterprises across 185 supermarkets New Zealand wide and with Colliers International based in Auckland as their National Manager, Engineering and Facilities for their high rise commercial buildings portfolio across New Zealand. He is a trained and qualified Marine Engineer with wide ranging experience as ex Assistant Chief Engineer of 5 star super deluxe hotel chain and General Manager of The World Trade Centre in Mumbai prior to his arrival in New Zealand 12 years ago. He was the recipient of the Energy Manager Award 2001 besides having a Masters Degree in Business Management was also the first New Zealander to be awarded the CFM qualifications from IFMA, Houston USA.

John Braithwaite (Vice-Chair)
John Braithwaite has over 17 years experience within the facilities management industry. His career has been built within the outsourced supplier network and has involved time with Serco Services, Knight Frank, DTZ, Transfield and United Group Limited. For the past five years, John has been based at United Group as National Facilities Manager where he has managed the delivery of services to several large nationwide clients through a team predominantly based in Wellington and Auckland. John's time in this environment has enabled him to develop an in-depth knowledge of many different FM solutions and experience in service delivery across a wide range of client portfolios and delivery categories.

Peter Lord (Vice-Chair)
Peter joined City Care in 2002 and held various project and operational management roles, including that of Divisional Manager - Facilities Management, Construction and Fleet Services, before being appointed Professional Services Manager in 2008. As Professional Services Manager, Peter is responsible for developing company-wide strategies across procurement and City Care's facilities, asset and fleet management services. Prior to joining City Care, Peter worked within the environmental management service industries in New Zealand, Australia and Europe.

Carol Gould
BBS (Property), GradDipArts (Sociology), AREINZ, MPINZ
Carol has over 15 years experience in the commercial property market in Australia and New Zealand, specialising in property and facilities management of national portfolios. She has held national roles in New Zealand and Australia with Knight Frank (NZ) Ltd, RDT Pacific, United Group and Jones Lang LaSalle. Carol has worked with many of the Asia Pacific region's prominent public sector and corporate organisations including ANZ Bank, Australian Government, Westpac Banking Corporation, Shell Oil, Bank of New Zealand, Fonterra, Transit New Zealand, Inland Revenue and BP Oil. In addition to her management roles, Carol has also carried out a range of consulting assignments for clients. Carol is respected as one of the region's experts in Facilities Management and in this capacity publishes and carries out speaking engagements.

Jason Happy
Jason has worked in facilities management since 1997 having gained a Master of Science degree specialising in Facilities Management whilst in the United Kingdom. He has practised as a professional engineer and holds an honours degree in Mechanical Engineering. Jason is currently the National Facilities Manager for Kiwi Income Property Trust (KIPT). In his current role Jason is responsible for ensuring KIPT's existing properties and new developments are market-leading performers in terms of operational efficiency and effectiveness. Jason also manages KIPT's Health and Safety and Environmental programmes and is a member of their executive team. Jason previously worked for the Building Research Establishment in the UK as a Project Manager on research projects targeting improving building energy and environmental performance. Prior to BRE Jason worked as a mechanical engineer for Worley Consultants New Zealand. Jason is a member of the Facility Management Association of Australia and has been working towards the formation of the FMANZ for a number of years.

Jonathan Jepson
Jonathan has worked in facilities management since 1984, first in the United Kingdom for a number of companies before moving to New Zealand in 1995. He was Facilities Manager at CLEAR Communications in Auckland from 1997 to 2001 and since then has been National Facilities Manager at Vodafone New Zealand. In his current role Jonathan is responsible for Vodafone's corporate premises throughout New Zealand, delivering both operational services and project managing fit-outs. Vodafone's New Zealand estate benchmarks in the top two operational companies within the worldwide Vodafone Group. Jonathan is a member of the British Institute of Facilities Management and the Facility Management Association of Australia. He is a founding member of FMANZ and was Chair of the Establishment Board.

Craig Nicholson
Craig has joined Fulton Hogan Ltd in 2011 as there Canterbury Business Development Manager covering their nine divisions with special emphasis on Facilities Management nationwide. In his current role he is responsible for existing client relationships with NZDF, CYFS, IHC, Salvation Army and Ministry of Education. Craig’s background started in the Hospitality Industry (1976-1990) in Hotel Management in England and after returning to NZ worked for Lion Nathan specialising as a Hotel Manager running staff and facilities at various locations. Craig was Managing Director of Precision Agencies Ltd his own advertising and marketing company with offices nationwide before selling in 2004. Craig worked for Commercial Door Services Ltd as National Business Development Manager working with such clients as Transfields, Spotless, UGL, Baileys, Westpac, ASB, RD1, Farmlands, The Warehouse, Ministry of Justice, Postie Plus, Lighting plus, Goodyear tyres, NZ Fire Service and many more. Craig has also brought various properties around the south island which now total fourteen where he delivers his own facilities management for the tenants. Craig brings a wealth of experience in relationship management, property and facility management strategies for all his clients.
